The Objectives of the A.A.C.S. / S.P.D.:

To promote optimum standards of practice in A.A.C.S. / S.P.D. departments or areas involving reprocessing and distribution of goods, conducive to effective and efficient patient care.

To encourage, arrange and promote educational sessions which advocate for the improvements of standards and foster growth and development for Surgical Processors in Alberta.

To collect and disseminate information and current data on new and improved techniques and equipment in Medical Device Reprocessing Departments.
